Travel Adventure Film And Dinner Series

The Illini Union Faculty Staff Social Committee invites you to the Illini Union to experience the 2009-2010 Travel Adventure Film and Dinner Series. This year’s four films, with ethnic dinners, celebrates the 37th anniversary of the series. Join the University of Illinois and the Urbana-Champaign community for around-the-world tasting and traveling adventures without leaving town!
Enjoy spectacular color cinematography with breathtaking footage documenting some of the world’s most enchanting cultures and awe-inspiring places, all brought to life by the personal anecdotes of the lecturers.
All films are presented in the Illini Rooms of the Illini Union. Doors open for all events at 6pm; Dinner will be served at 6:30pm.
The mission of the Faculty Staff Social Committee, as charged by the Illini Union, is to develop, administer and supervise diverse social, cultural, educational and recreational activities for the University faculty/staff and retiree community.

2009-2010 Travel Adventure Film and Dinner Series tickets are available for purchase beginning Tuesday, July 14.
By phone
Order your tickets by phone with the Assembly Hall Ticket Office at (217) 333-5000. Pay with a credit card and have your series tickets mailed directly to you.
(Please note that there is a $6 service charge affiliated with all phone orders.)
In Person at the Assembly Hall Ticket Office
Buy tickets in person at the Assembly Hall Ticket Office via credit card, cash or check.
Checks should be made out to “University of Illinois.”
The Assembly Hall Ticket Office is open this summer from 10am-2pm, Monday-Friday. Parking is available next to the Ticket Office.

The Assembly Hall Ticket Office accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover for credit card purchases.
2009-2010 Series tickets will be sold for $76.00 per person for the complete 4 shows and dinners (not including the service fee if you chose to order over the phone with credit card). These tickets will be available for purchase from Tuesday, July 14 thru Tuesday, August 18, only.
Individual 2009-2010 event tickets will be available beginning Monday, August 31, for $20.00 per person/per event.
Individual tickets can be purchased at the Assembly Hall Ticket Office or the Illini Union Ticket Central and can be purchased until the Wednesday prior to each program.
Please note that individual tickets cannot be purchased over the phone and, due to event logistics, will not be available after the Wednesday prior to each program.
