Important!
Fall fee bills are due August 1.
Spring fee bills due January 8th.
The following must be done by the posted deadline dates and can be done through your Peoplesoft account under student permissions:
- Did you submit your Title IV waiver?
- Did you submit your health insurance waiver?
- If you took out a federal loan, did you submit your entrance counseling and master promissory note?

Payment is expected in full at the beginning of each semester (Fall- August 1, Spring - January 8) Payments made after these dates may be subject to a $50 late fee.
Payment for fee bills can be made by:
- Check - made payable to The University of Connecticut Bursar's Office, 855 University Dr. Torrington CT 06790
- Cash (exact amount) - dropped off at the Bursar's Office
- Diner, Mastercard, Discover - through the student's Peoplesoft account. There is a 2.5% convience fee for this service.
- E-Check (Electronic Check) - through Student Admin (Peoplesoft) under Finances

- Fill out FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov UConn school code is 001417, use this code for regional campuses also.
Hold Policy
- A “hold” is placed on any student account with a past due balance. It is the primary collection tool used by the university. Once placed, the “hold” remains in place until the student has fulfilled their financial obligation to the university.
- Until removed by the Bursar’s Office, a financial hold restricts certain student activities:
- Transcript release
- Registration for future semesters
- The ability to add or drop classes
Late Fee Policy
- Late payment fee of $50 is payable by all undergraduate students whose tuition and fees are not paid in full on the published fee bill due date. Checks returned by the bank for any reason are considered late payment. Additionally students will have services such as class registration denied if all fees have not been paid by the due date.
Student Responsibility
- The Student is responsible to review and accept or decline his financial aid award by logging in to his Peoplesoft account>self service>student center>finance. Click on correct aid year. The Student is responsible for amount above and beyond what financial aid will cover by the due date. If there is a credit balance, refunds will be sent to the Bursar’s office after the first day of class.
