The word is that an upcoming report on the Storrs campus appearance will include, among many other things, the recommendation that the red trailers that now sit – inexplicably – over behind Wilbur Cross be removed at long last. Maybe even before commencement. The Lookout previously wondered who at the university had taken leave of their senses and agreed to litter that nice old area of campus with a couple of big ugly trailers that would be more at home at a construction site. Possibility: they were installed as modern art. Either way: they’re going.
The university is apparently hard at work finding homes for the people who work in them as we speak. More on that report as it becomes known.
