Campus safety is a vital concern at the University of Connecticut. Detailed policies and procedures are in place to address all manner of emergency situations affecting persons and/or property.

Public Safety Overview For The Storrs Campus:

Alert Notification System ( Website)

Code Blue Alert phones: [ MAP] (more than 220 throughout the campus)

Escort program: available to assist students in traveling about the campus

Police patrols: on foot and in police vehicles

Emergency 911 Center: state-of-the-art system campus-wide

Safety education programs: conducted continuously during the year
