This is only the vss server. It is compatible with applications built with VSS 3.1 clients; all the 3.1 documentation still applies to it.

It is self-contained: no shared libraries, DLLs, or DSOs.

It is a pure command-line application: it opens no windows.

vssLinux-4.gz. For kernel 2.6.32, i686.
vssLinux-4–64bit.gz. For kernel 2.6.32, x86_64.
