Coach DeLitta is in her second year of head coaching the Lady Barons. After having a successful first season by sweeping the Garden State Conference, winning the Region XIX Championship, and being named a 2012-13 NJCAA All-Academic Team , Coach DeLitta looks forward to her second season with the Women’s Soccer team.
DeLitta has been a Burlington Township resident for the past 15 years. She knows how valuable the education her team receives from Burlington County College and emphasizes education, team, and family values. She believes the College and soccer team are an extended family to the players, that can help them achieve their academic and athletic goals while at Burlington County College.
After training and coaching at various soccer clubs in the Burlington County and Mercer County areas, DeLitta has embraced her new challenge of coaching college soccer. “My goal is to run a women’s soccer program that exudes excellence on and off the field. In turn, a tradition of successful women soccer players will be expected, and will represent the huge population of tremendous soccer talent located in the Burlington County area. Females who participate in sports during their college years go on to be very successful at meeting life’s challenges. That is what a true education is about, learning to lead happy and successful lives. Burlington County College can get them there; the women’s soccer program will help them.”
Joe Arone will enter his third season with the Barons this fall. Coach Arone's experience transpires many levels. He currently serves as the coach for Rancocas Valley Soccer Club Red Devils '00.
