Welcome to South Suburban College. The Services for Students with Disabilities Office (SSDO) will provide this information packet for all students seeking any type of academic accommodations.
Application Process and Student Guidelines
Services Available to Students:
- pre-admission counseling
- liaison with instructors
- priority registration for courses
- handicapped parking permits available (through Campus Police)
- elevator keys
- job placement referral

- large print calculators

- screen enlargement computer
- key guard for computers
- closed caption decoders (for televisions)

The office does not provide personal attendant care or services of a personal nature; nor does the Office provide equipment or devices of a personal nature.
It is the students’ responsibility to notify their instructors of classroom accommodations that they are receiving.
