New Students

Eight Steps to becoming an Houston Community College Student

  1. Submit an online admissions application and Pre-Registration Information Seminar (PRIS) at https://saweb.hccs.cc.tx.us/pswebapp/.
  2. Take appropriate test if necessary. (fee may be required)
  3. Bring an official college transcript(s) in a sealed envelope and/or official documentation with TASP/THEA, TAAS, ACT or SAT Scores. (if applicable)
  4. Meet with a counselor for advisement and interpretation of test results. (if required)
  5. Register for courses on-line at home or any campus.
  6. Pay Tuition/Fees on-campus at cashier's office or online.
  7. Obtain a parking sticker and student ID from security office on campus.
  8. Purchase books from the bookstore.
