The Olympic and Paralympic Games are just around the corner. 

So how will you bring the inspirational power of the Games into your classroom?

We’ve put together this initiative to help young people and their teachers grab a piece of the Olympic action – wherever they are.

Perhaps you will:

• partner with a school across the globe and share your views about the Games
• try out some of our resources – all inspired by the Games and suitable to share with an overseas partner
• sign up for a dancing world record attempt – be part of something massive
• enter the Warm up for the games competitions.

The Games are a fantastic opportunity to inspire young people all over the world. Like no other event, they demonstrate how nations can unite in a sporting arena. Get involved today.

Want to get involved but not sure where to start?  We’ve got loads of great ideas to kick start your school’s work on the Games.  Download our free project templates or get inspiration from schools who are already working together in the World Olympic Dreams Network.  

Our English for the Games site has lots of free resources for learners of English to help them practice their skills and learn all about the Games.  You could also use these with English-speaking pupils who want to understand more about the Olympic and Paralympic history, sports and values.
