Will you accept The Big Science Challenge?

Do you teach in a secondary school in the UK or the Middle East?* Then enter our exciting competition and you could win a trip to London or Dubai for you and your students.

It’s simple – just ask your students to:

- identify local, national or global issues concerning water.

- design an innovative solution to one of these problems.

Take part in The Big Science Challenge and you will:

• get the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to London or Dubai for you and 5 students.
• help pupils put their scientific skills into practice with an engaging, real-life context.
• give your students the opportunity to work in international networks with schools across the Middle East and in the UK, just like real scientists.

*Open to teams of up to 5 young people aged 11-16 from secondary schools in the UK and certain secondary schools in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq and Oman.  Schools in the Middle East should contact their local British Council office to check if they are eligible.
