Connecting Classrooms is a global education programme for schools.  It is designed to help young people learn about global issues and become responsible global citizens, as well as giving them the skills they need for work in a global economy.  It will offer school partnerships, professional development courses for educators, school accreditation and opportunities for policy-makers to share best practice with international counterparts.  

At the moment, we are looking for schools who want to take part through funded international school partnerships.  If your school is in a partnership between the UK and another country, you could be eligible to apply for funding. 

Remember, classroom support from Europe and beyond is available through our established Language Assistant programme.

Whichever programme you choose, the outcomes will take you ever closer to attaining full accreditation for the British Council International School Award.
