eTwinning is the free online community for schools and colleges in Europe. It helps you to:

  • find partners
  • collaborate online through classroom projects that support your curriculum objectives
  • access free training in how to incorporate ICT tools into your partnership projects.

The Comenius programme aims to support and fund four main activities; school partnerships and visits, in-service teacher training, European classroom assistants and what’s known as the Regio Partnerships for local authorities.

The Lefèvre Trust aims to increase understanding and trust between young people in the UK and France. The programme offers grant funding to enable reciprocal visits between young people and educators from schools in the UK and France that are working together in sustainable, curriculum-based partnerships. All schools who teach 11-19 year olds are eligible to apply. Grants are available for programmes starting in 2013 and applications are now open.

Remember, classroom support from Europe and beyond is available through our established Language Assistant programme.
