Registration - step by step

Teacher writing on blackboard When you register with British Council to find a partner school, you will need to fill in some simple details. These details will be seen by potential partner schools, and the contact details are particularly important.

Most schools will expect to use email for getting in touch. If you pick up email less then once a week, it is a good idea to explain this in 'Your Message'. Then schools contacting you will not expect an immediate reply.

It is quick and easy to register your school. The section entitled 'Your message' is the most important part of your registration. Schools see the first 100 words so make sure these are the most relevant.

  • Be clear and straightforward
  • Mention any special aspect of the school
  • Add some description to help paint a picture
