The Rhythms of Life Series is a vibrant succession of cultural performances providing hours of lively and interesting entertainment to the campus community. The performances in this series give true meaning to the word "diverse" as they feature a variety of music, dance, and storytelling from all regions of the world. Past performers include Native Nations Dance Theatre, Tai Yim's Dragon & Lion Chinese Dancers, Rhythms and Blues, Rakish Paddy’s Irish music, Indian Sitar and Tabla, Caribbean Steel Drum/Pan music, Mariachis, Japanese Taiko Drums, and much more! | ||||

Band Photo Every performance by Resonance Percussion is a celebration of global music as they share the sounds and rhythms of percussion on instruments from around the world. Music from Trinidad, Cuba, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, Brazil, Guatemala, Japan, India and the United States is performed on instruments from the West African djembe to the steel pan drum, from the marimba and vibraphone to Japan's taiko drum. Virtuosic playing and a universe of diverse music create an exciting musical experience. Resonance Percussion performs music from across the globe in both traditional and new arrangements and original compositions. | |
