Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of policies and approaches that could be utilized in the U.S. The price includes instructional costs, transportation in England, four weeks lodging and meals. Participants will spend six weeks in China: one week touring Beijing and five weeks studying in Shanghai at Fudan University, one of the top universities in Chiina. They will have the opportunity to visit a variety of cultural sites, including the Great Wall and Forbidden City in Beijing, various places of interest in Shanghai, as well as several industrial firms. Program cost includes airfare, housing, two weekend excursions, group travel, and most Beijing meals. Offered jointly with the College of Architecture, Arts, and Humanities. Location: Germany In this 26-day program, students will gain an understanding of industrial management practices of a variety of German manufacturing industries through organized site visits and talks by senior German operations managers and leading academics.
