Organization

Annual Performance Measures

TBABS is a federally funded program that provides a free service to print-disabled Oregonians.
Participants receive catalogs describing new books. Catalogs are provided in large print, on cassette, in Braille, and online.

Book requests can be made 24-hours per day by phone or email, by mail, or in person.
Approximately 1,500 books are mailed each day.
Materials are shipped via Free Matter for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.  The back of the mailing label has the return address. When participants return books, they simply flip over the mailing label and drop the book in the mail.
