Pets in yurts and cabin pilot project

Stub Stewart and LaPine state parks will allow pets in selected cabins during a one-year pilot project. Reservations can be made by phone (1-800-452-5687) for stays starting May 1, 2009. An extra fee of $10 per night will be charged. A limit of two pets will be in effect. "Pets" are defined as dogs or cats. Information about the pet survey.

With slightly more room than the standard one-room rustic cabin, our two-room cabin is a balance between comfort and economy.

TOTEM CABIN

Totem
The charm of a log cabin along the Oregon Trail and the convenience of a full-service campground. The Emigrant Springs Totem cabin is actually two units, each with two bunk beds. Rent one for a small party, or both for a larger gathering.

Side A sleep four on two bunkbeds. Side B sleeps three on a bunkbed (double on the bottom and a single on the top).

RUSTIC YURTS

It´s round (16´ in diameter), filled with comfy furniture, and pointy on top. Yurts … a quickly-growing national phenomenon that broke in to the public camping scene right here in Oregon.
