The Office of Admissions handles all applications for undergraduate admission to The University. Admissions standards are described in The University of Alabama Undergraduate Catalog and must be met by all students, regardless of disability. Applications for admission to graduate programs are handled by the Graduate School Office, in accordance with standards described in The University of Alabama Graduate Catalog. Scores from nonstandard administration of entrance examinations are acceptable on the same basis as scores from standard administration of those tests. Read more about Prospective Students

Office of Disability Services ODS is the central contact point for students with disabilities at UA. Services for students focus upon providing accommodations and services to help meet University demands, while promoting student responsibility and self-advocacy. Students who choose not to self-identify when they enter UA do not forfeit their right to identify themselves and to receive accommodations at a later date. However, UA is not obligated to provide accommodations or services for students with disabilities until students are registered with ODS.
