Noncredit Courses
Tuition for noncredit courses is determined by the academic department and our office. Course costs are listed for each course in the Course Search. Occasionally, a noncredit course will have two listed rates (a charge for regular students and a reduced rate for members of an identified company, agency, or organization). In these instances, the special instructions section of the course description will list both rates and identify the organization whose members qualify for the reduced rate.
Payment Options
Course payment must be received in full before you will be enrolled in requested noncredit section(s), unless you are using the company payment option. Noncredit students do not qualify for student loans or in-school deferments. We accept the following forms of payment for noncredit courses:
- Check (Payable to the University of Illinois)
- Money Order (Payable to the University of Illinois)
- Credit Card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover)
- Company/Employer Payment
In order for OCE to invoice your company/employer for the cost of your noncredit course(s), we must receive a letter on official letterhead from the company, complete with FEIN number and billing address, including a commitment to pay for the specific course. Or forward a copy of your company/employer purchase order or tuition voucher to the address or fax number listed below.
