Research Interests: the psychiatric and behavioral disorders of abortion, reproductive loss, PTSD and stress disorders among young women, as well as the development of population-focused behavioral interventions targeted toward these disorders
Focus Area: Biobehavioral interventions
Research Interests:: Determinants of nurse and patient outcomes. Nurse workforce and the exploration of organizational effectiveness and relationships with patient outcomes.
Focus Areas: Nurse workforce and nurse and patient outcomes in multiple settings. Survey research and large database analyses.
Research Interests: Pain management needs of older patients with a speech impairment that limits self-reporting of pain and other critical symptoms during the immediate post-operative period.
Focus area: Aging and health, oncology
Research Interests: depression among minorities, community-based interventions for minority population and group-treatment among minorities
