My Favourite Day - Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year is celebrated in many countries around the world. Each new year is named after one of twelve animals. 2010 was the year of the tiger, 2011 the year of the rabbit and 2012 is the year of the dragon.
Listen to a girl telling us about why she likes Chinese New Year, and what she does at this time.

My favorite day is Songkarn festival in Thailand. Because it's long long holiday. We splash water to each other during summer season. We also visit relative and grandparents and have some food together. In the past, we usually wore Thai traditional clothes on this day.
