i don't know. i have a question in using ed or ing in the adjectives. which one is right and why write the missing words or write the missed words thanks

Hi Wafa, Thanks for your question. In this case, we would use 'missing', as 'missed' is not usually used as an adjective. When my students have questions like these I recommend they look up the two words in the dictionary and check things like the parts of speech and examples given. You could try using the Cambridge Dictionaries Online search box on the right hand side of this page to do just that! Best wishes. Stephen Jones The LearnEnglish Team

I have done few exercises for this topics. I would like to write a summary for this topic based on my understanding. If I'm wrong, please correct me. The adjective ending with 'ed' is describe on people's feeling, however ending with 'ing' is describe things(noun). For example: I felt tired today. (describe people's feeling) This story book is very interesting. (describe the thing)

Very nice Test, I think we have rules to choose which type of adjectives: we must use adjective end with - ed, if the sentence is about felling. and if the bland need adjective to describe something ( people, place, ....) who make these felling, we much adjective in - ing form ending.
