Modal verbs

The modal verbs are:

can    could
may    might
shall    should
will     would

We use modals verbs to show if we believe something is certain, probable or possible (or not). We also use modals to do things like talking about ability, asking permission making requests and offers, and so on.

I have learned a lot on this site..,would like to contribute some money..,where should i send it :)

Hello Rowel,
Thanks so much for your offer, but this is a free website and we don't accept money. The best thing you could do for LearnEnglish is to help us attract more users. So, if you know other people who are learning English, please tell them about us!
Oh, and if you have a smartphone, we are launching some free apps which will allow you to pay for upgrades soon, so if you want to buy something from us, that would be one possibility. Mostly, though, just spread the word about LearnEnglish!
Best wishes,
Adam

Which one of these sentences is right :
-You have to do your H.W.
or
-You must do your H.W. and why?

Hello jasmine,

Please check out this page on using must and have to for a guide on using these two variations on expressing obligation. If you have any more questions after that, ask them on that page.
