We use whose to ask questions:

Pattern A      Pattern B   
Whose coat is this?    or    Whose is this coat?

I'm glad the site is helping you with your English.

As you say, we don't have any British Council teaching centres in Iraq, although we are involved in projects that involve local institutions.

For now though, you'll just have to make do with us here on LearnEnglish!
