Entrepreneurship at Illinois
Our Vision for Entrepreneurship
The administrators and faculty of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, from the president and chancellor to deans and professors, are placing an emphasis on entrepreneurship and leadership in curricular and extra-curricular activities for students, faculty, and staff. In addition, the University provides entrepreneurship resources to the community in order to foster economic development.
Several centers and units on campus foster entrepreneurship, technology commercialization and economic development; including the Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership, the Technology Entrepreneur Center, the Office of Technology Management, the Hoeft Technology and Management Program, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO), and the Chinese Entrepreneur & Professionals Club (CEPC). In short, entrepreneurship is becoming quite a pervasive field at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
