Dr Auhoud Said Al-Bulushi is an Assistant Professor at the College of Education in Sultan Qaboos University (SQU). Besides her academic duties, Dr Al-Bulushi is Head of Research and Studies department at the Omani Studies Centre at SQU. Her work involves carrying out and encouraging research on issues pertaining to the Omani culture and identity as well as giving research consultations to researchers interested in the Omani society and culture. She obtained her PhD from Warwick University in the United Kingdom in the area of Applied Linguistics. Dr Al-Bulushi has been involved in many administrative, academic and social activities; and has represented the Sultanate of Oman in different international events.
