Why grow international education partnerships with India?

5 December 2008 - 14:15

Many foreign institutions want to grow long-term education partnerships with India. Some have already established successful activities and others are considering what might be the best way forward. To facilitate growth, Indian and foreign governments are already investing funds to support many aspects of internationalisation. These funds are going towards student recruitment, staff development and exchanges, curriculum and teaching programme development, research links, joint and dual degrees and teaching materials exchange.
This session will provide an opportunity for participants:
- to learn of the priorities and strategies being implemented from three of the world's leading countries in international education
- to consider the new opportunities and constraints involved in growing international HE partnerships.
