Programme
The theme for next year’s Going Global conference shall be announced in June 2012. After this announcement, we will open the Going Global 2013 call for proposals. Following the short listing process, details of Going Global 2013 sessions, posters and ‘talking head’ videos will be available here in a downloadable programme.
The Going Global 2012 programme included more than 50 sessions; around 100 posters and ‘Talking Heads’ video clips; a variety of networking opportunities, including the Opening Reception; and an accompanying exhibition. The Going Global 2012 programme can be downloaded below:

Panel debates involve panellists with contrasting or complementary points of view respond to each other and to audience questions on a particular theme.
Multi-presentations and discussion involve up to four short presentations on a particular theme. Presentations are followed by a question and answer session.
World café sessions offer the opportunity to interact with presenters in smaller groups. Each table discusses and explores a different perspective on the session topic.
Poster presentations combine text and graphics to highlight unique ideas and case studies from the world of international education. The poster presenters held a question and answer session with delegates in the Mountbatten Lounge on Wednesday 14 March.
Talking Head presentations are short video clips and comparable to a video poster. The clips will play on a loop in the Mountbatten Lounge throughout the conference. The Talking Heads presenters held a question and answer session with delegates in the Mountbatten Lounge on Thursday 15 March.
