Harrogate Online provides teacher audiences worldwide with an opportunity to share ideas with colleagues and peers before, during and after the conference.
This year’s 44th IATEFL Annual International Conference in Harrogate broke all records by attracting 2,000 physical delegates and over 50,000 online delegates.
IATEFL Online, now in its fourth year, is an innovative partnership between the British Council and IATEFL. Using the latest technology, IATEFL Online takes the conference to teachers who are not able to attend in person.
As Simon Greenall, former IATEFL president, commented:
‘The online conference was an extraordinary experience- we couldn’t have dreamt this was possible when I was president of IATEFL, and central to the IATEFL mission. Harrogate Online has turned the exclusive into the inclusive. It’s nothing less than the democratisation of access to information. We at IATEFL are delighted by this partnership and our joint efforts to fulfil our charitable mission.’
We hope you will join us next year for Brighton Online.
