Fellowships and Awards

The Rifkind Center provides research support for City College faculty and students in the Humanities and Arts on a case-by-case basis upon review of an application (a letter including a brief project description and the type of support being requested) submitted to the Humanities and Arts office in NAC 5/225.

Requests can be for released time, travel funding, equipment grants, student assistance, and contract support.  Preference will be given to inter- and cross-disciplinary projects showcasing collaboration and innovation; under-contract book projects whose completion can be accelerated with Rifkind Center support; and mid-career faculty whose work is not already subsidized by contractual released time, junior faculty awards, PSC CUNY grants, and other forms of support.
