Meet Our Students
This page is dedicated to the work of select students in Professor Jonathan Pieslak’s Popular Music Composition Course (Music 43100).
In this course, student assignments consist of model compositions of particular artists or genres. Typically, students have one week in which to compose and record formal sections of a song, most often a verse and chorus, although some students elect to compose complete songs. All assignments are turned in as CDs. The other music you will hear is from students' final projects, which are completed songs of any contemporary style representing a more finished product than the weekly assignments.
