Welcome to the Graduate Programs in Special Education
The School of Education at the City College of New York offers two graduate programs in Special Education:
Teacher of Students with Disabilities in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6),
Teacher of Students with Disabilities in Adolescent Education (Grades 7-12).
The two programs in special education require 31-43 credit hours (depending on your previous coursework) and lead to a Master of Science in Education degree. The inclusion model of delivering special education services in an urban environment is emphasized, but candidates will be prepared to work in self-contained environments as well.Open the original version of this page.
