Position Description and Duties
The Department of Economics and Business at City College of New York seeks candidates for a tenure track position, effective for Fall 2013. Prefer field of public economics although other policy-relevant fields will be considered. Applicants must be able to demonstrate their commitment to teaching and program administration as well as their promise for scholarly work.
The appointment will be to the Department of Economics and Business, but will have some teaching duties in the Public Service Management (PSM) program, which awards a master's degree in public administration. The position will carry some responsibility for directing that program, including participating in faculty hiring, reviewing faculty performance, and developing curriculum.

Ph.D. degree in Economics within field of public economics. Experience managing academic programs and experience working in diverse academic environments.
