Position Description and Duties

The Department of Philosophy of The City College of The City University of New York seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor.  The position entails undergraduate teaching (3 courses per semester).  Areas of specialization: Philosophy of Action, Philosophy of Education. Areas of competence: Ethics and Moral Philosophy, Political Philosophy, Metaethics.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ph.D. in philosophy and 2 years of experience with service learning and teaching writing-intensive courses, and successful grant-raising.
