User Services and IT Security
The Division of User Services and IT Security is responsible for all computing services within the university and security functions associated with Information Technology applications. This includes;
- Departmental and student computing helpdesk support (software, hardware, network)
- Public information about CUNY computer use policies, services, plans, and outages
- Identity management and access control policies
- Implementation of security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security
- Performance and customer service/satisfaction surveys regarding the helpdesk and various IT Services

Information Security Officer
The Information Security Officer (ISO) administers the information security measures to assure compliance with college and university security policies and best practices, oversees technology initiatives to protect college data, and is the first point of contact for incidents involving information security breaches.
