At 438 PM edt...Doppler radar detected a line of thunderstorms. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 13 miles east of Scott stadium to 6 miles southeast of Afton to 15 miles northwest of Lyndhurst...moving southeast at 35 mph. Locations that likely will be impacted include Sherando and wintergreen. Gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph can be expected. These thunderstorms are producing frequent cloud to ground lightning. Move indoors immediately for your safety. If you can hear thunder... You are close enough to be struck by lightning.
