Springfield Good as Gold Ceremony – April 23, 2014

Good as Gold Logo

The Good as Gold Ceremony was established in 2009 to recognize the spirit and achievements of local volunteers and nonprofit organizations. The ceremony is a joint effort between the UIS Volunteer & Civic Engagement Center and the Junior League of Springfield. Good as Gold is sponsored by the UIS College of Business and Management, and supported by the Greater Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

Each year hundreds of community members take a moment and thank those who tirelessly give their time and talent to make Springfield a better place to live and thrive. Nominate a volunteer or organization today!

In 2014, the Good as Gold Awards Ceremony will, for the first time, recognize Springfield businesses that support volunteer efforts and charitable giving via the Good as Gold Business Honor Roll. See below for the Honor Roll application and details.
