- Who: All students (graduate and undergraduate) involved in research or creative works. You can elect to give a short oral presentation, a poster presentation, art exhibition, or performance of your work.
- General Registration: General registration will continue until Monday, February 15, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. Abstracts will be accepted as space allows. The first 30 poster submissions will be paid for by STARS.

Danielle Evans, MFA
Danielle Evans is the winner of the 2011 PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize and a National Book Foundation “5 Under 35″ honoree. A graduate of Columbia University and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, her stories have appeared in The Paris Review, A Public Space, The Best American Short Stories 2008, and The Best American Short Stories 2010. Her collection of stories, Before You Suffocate Your Own Fool Self, is her first book. She lives in Washington, D.C.
Edem S. Agamah, MD, MS, FACP edem
Dr. Agamah is an Associate Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He is the 2014 award winner in Volunteerism and Community Service for the American College of Physicians, Illinois Chapter. Dr. Agamah founded the International Health and Development Network (IHDN) in 1996. Since 1996, he has led over 280 volunteers, including 30 college and medical students, on 27 mission trips to Ghana, where they learned and provided care for tens of thousands of villagers in Southeastern Ghana.
