Ms. Pamela Scott is the UIS Chorus Staff Accompanist. Additionally, she works as a Library Specialist in Circulations at UIS’ Brookens Library.
Ms. Scott completed B.A. degrees in Music and German at Northern Michigan University where she graduated Summa cum laude. Her music degree was in piano with a choral sub-specialization. She completed a Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, which includes masters level work in church music and piano pedagogy.
Ms. Scott has extensive experience as a church musician, both as an accompanist and as a choir director, and she has taught private piano lessons. She played the flute in band and orchestra in high school, is currently learning to play the Native American flute and is trying to teach herself a little bluegrass guitar!
