About the Department

Student in Mathematical Sciences The Mathematical Sciences program is designed to meet the ever-increasing demands for diverse quantitative skills, and offers the following opportunities of study:

The curriculum provides an opportunity to obtain the Bachelor of Arts degree or an undergraduate minor in Mathematical Sciences, either online or on campus.

The Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Sciences is designed to prepare students for careers using mathematics, operations research, and statistics. This education is extremely valuable for careers in any of the following:

  • Teaching
  • Research
  • Industry/Engineering
  • Insurance
  • Management

The degree also prepares students for graduate study in Mathematical Sciences or related areas.
