Taylor Traynoff is a senior at the University of Illinois Springfield, where she is double majoring in Legal Studies and Political Science as well as minoring in History. Taylor became aware of the Illinois Innocence Project through the LES 488 Conviction of the Innocent course taught by Founding Director Larry Golden, and took immediate interest in the Project’s work. While interning with the Innocence Project, she hopes to further her communication and research skills along with deepening her knowledge of the legal system while seeking justice for the wrongfully convicted. Along with being a member of the Pre-Law Society and Capital Scholars Honors Program at UIS, Taylor is also a volunteer coach with Girls on the Run of central Illinois and an active member of various D.A.R. chapters.
