New Assistant Director of Client Services
kmcelwrath We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kara McElwrath as the new Assistant Director of Client Services. Over the past five years, Kara has built strong relationships throughout campus and is well known among faculty, staff, and students for providing exemplary service and technology support and for introducing innovative technology solutions. In her new role Kara will provide direction and guidance to the ITS Technology Support Center, ITS Learning Spaces Support and Instructional Support & Training teams. The three teams already work together and coordinate their activities, but closer integration of our client support teams will benefit the campus and enhance our ability to proactively anticipate needs and to research, evaluate, and implement new and emerging technologies in support of teaching, learning, and administrative functions.

ITS is proud to announce the ability to connect to the UIS wireless network via your Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo-DS, and other devices that do not use standard Enterprise Wireless Encryption.
