Special Recognition of Significant Donors
have several recognition groups for donors who make significant contributions to the University.
It is our great pleasure to honor these donors with special gifts, events, and heartfelt gratitude–especially since these friends share our vision for the future of our students and our institution. They see in a special way how UIS contributes to the Springfield community and want to partner with our faculty and staff in making a difference through the lives of our students.
Membership in these groups depends upon the level of giving and the time those gifts are made.
- University of Illinois Presidents Council–For donors who make outright gifts of $25,000 or deferred gifts of $50,000
- Chancellor’s Circle–For donors who give $2,500 or more during a given fiscal year–July 1 through June 30
- Chancellor’s Capitol Council–UIS’ highest honor organization with minimum gift requirements of $10,000 in lifetime giving to UIS.
