Giving to the College
Substantial and continued funding is required in order to offer the range of academic programs and associated student and faculty organizations that contribute to the richness and quality of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Sponsoring a wide variety of events for UIS and larger Springfield community members alike, the College’s programming includes music and theater performances, science research symposia, verbal arts festivals, and the UIS Visual Arts Gallery, as well as scholarships that UIS students use donations to the College to support their science education. enable students to pursue interests in the areas of arts and sciences.
While activities are funed by student tuition, the College as well as the larger University relies on alumni donations to support its growing number of innovative programs and events. With the help of alumni and interested others, the College can continue to provide both state-of-the-art academic programs and co-curricular activities in the performing and visual arts, field-based research, humanities, and sciences.
Is your interest performing arts? Online learning and teaching? Science and research? To donate to these or other specific programs, please select the program from a list of CLAS department funds, and make a gift to the college.
