British Council calls for applications for the Russian Language Assistant programme in the UK for the year 2013-2014.
Have you ever wanted to teach abroad and improve your English? Can you think of classroom activities that would help students in the UK to improve their Russian language skills? If so, the Foreign Language Assistants programme might be for you.
Your role will be to work with the teacher in the classroom or on your own with small groups of students in order to help them gain confidence in your language. It is also a good chance for them to learn more about the culture in your country.
This year the British Council Russia will be enrolling 2 teachers to work as foreign language assistants in 2013/2014 academic year.
Who can participate and criteria for selection:
We are looking for young enthusiastic professionals with higher education diploma to work as assistant teachers in British school during 2013/2014 academic year.

The documents you need to submit:
British Council does not cover any expenses of the participants of the programme such as plane tickets, visa application fee etc. They should cater their visa, transport and other arrangements themselves. We will provide support documents for their visa application. To take part in the programme participants must be available for the whole period.
Successful candidates will need to provide police clearance certificate and medical certificate. We will notify you separately when it is required.
