Greetings from the South Suburban College Foundation
On behalf of the SSC Foundation Board, I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all of our Friends. You have made a significant impact on the lives of our students, many of whom would not have been able to begin or continue their college education at SSC.
As we set out to meet the challenges of a new year in 2014, we have both our scholarship application process and our spring gala fundraiser planning in progress.
Our 2014 Scholarship Books and Applications are now available in the President’s Office (Room 2134), the Financial Aid Office (2355) and online. The SSC Financial Aid Office is also encouraging all prospective and current students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) soon to increase opportunities for funding assistance; visit www.fafsa.gov using school code 001769.
Additionally, we are now seeking support from our friends and local partners for “Showcase 2014: SSC Global” our spring dinner-dance fundraiser to be held on April 25, 2014, at Glenwoodie Golf Club. This year’s event will highlight SSC’s global connections including study abroad and faculty exchange programs. We hope to see you there!
Thank you for your interest and support. If you have any questions or would like to find out how you can participate, please email Foundation@ssc.edu.
