The Department of Chemical Engineering of The City College of New York is ranked 19th nationally as a research department by the National Research Council and is also ABET accredited.
Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to assume a key role in both research and teaching in one of the three major areas of concern to the Department, namely, biotechnology and biomaterials; nanomaterials and self-assembling systems; or process and energy systems engineering. His or her duties will be to guide and develop the relevant research effort; to mentor student research, both graduate and undergraduate; and to participate in preparation of curriculum that makes the research efforts available in the classroom.
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a PhD and be a full professor in either chemical engineering or a closely related discipline. In addition, his or her research and other scholarly activities must be recognized both nationally and internationally.
Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
