POSITION DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES
The position is for a tenure track assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the City College of New York. This position will be associated with the Institute for Sustainable Energy Technology (ISET), which is initiating a major research effort in several areas, a primary one being energy storage. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to both the research efforts and curriculum development for the Institute. Since the Institute is in the initial phase of start-up, the candidate will be expected to play a significant role in this activity.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The applicant must have a PhD in either chemical engineering or a related field. Experience in electrochemical engineering, particularly as it applies to energy storage is highly desirable. Postdoctoral or industrial experience is also desirable.
