Important Dates for 2008 SUMMER SCHOLARSHIP

Important Dates:

April 30, 2008

– Scholarship proposals must be postmarked and sent to the mailing address below.  No electronic submission will be accepted.

June 1, 2008

– Scholarship awards will be announced.

August 1, 2008

– Submit a progress report including evidence of a completed or in-progress manuscript for publication and/or presentation; a research-based DVD, film or other creative work; a project identifying and/or meeting educational needs of Dominican students in the U.S., curricular transformation, or other education related project; an annotated bibliography of works published in the U.S. or the Dominican Republic, or other project related to Dominican Studies. Submit original receipts for entire amount of Scholarship funding.

September 1, 2008

- Final project report must be postmarked and sent to address below.

Applicants must submit 5 (five) complete copies of Summer Scholarship proposals. Incomplete submissions will not be considered or returned.
