Starting September 5, 2010, several route schedules will be adjusted. Some schedule changes will offer better connections to other routes and to GO Transit while other changes will allow Oakville Transit to increase frequency and reduce wait times.
Revised schedules are now available below. Please check the schedules carefully. To receive alerts regarding transit changes and updates, please click on the button located at the top of the web page.
The changes are as follows:
Route 3 - The weekday afternoon schedule has been adjusted on this route to allow for improved GO Train connections. Please note: The stop at Third Line and Dundas will no longer be shown on the transit schedule. Instead, you will see Dundas and Proudfoot which is one stop east of Third Line. The bus will still stop at both locations.Route 6 - The weekday morning eastbound schedule has been adjusted on this route to allow for improved connections with Route 1.
Route 22 - A new weekday trip has been added to depart Bronte GO station at 4:50 p.m.
Route 26 - The 7:30 a.m. departure from Oakville GO station has been adjusted to depart at 7:33 a.m. for improved westbound GO Train connection.
School specials for 2010/2011
School bus specials will begin on September 7, 2010.
Route 71 - White Oaks S.S.
Route 80 - Holy Trinity C.S.S.
Routes 81 and 82 - Abbey Park H.S. / St. Ignatius of Loyola - The morning trip for Route 81 South has been cancelled. Route 81 South will only operate in the afternoon.
Route 83 - T.A. Blakelock H.S. - The west route has been extended to cover the Bridge Road area west of Hopedale Mall.
Route 84 - Oakville Trafalgar S.S. - The south part of this route has been cancelled, please see the following pdf for alternative travel options.
Route 85 - Iroquois Ridge S.S. - This route has been cancelled. Please use Route 20 as an alternative to and from school.
